About Peter Shanly

I am a graphic designer and a graduate of the York University & Sheridan Institute Honours Bachelor of Design Program. I am currently seeking the next steps in my graphic design career.

I have 6.5 years of combined full-time corporate and freelance design experience, four of which includes work as a successful full-time graphic designer for Beakbane Brand Strategies and Communications and Buck Consultants, A Xerox Company. My interests in design are corporate identity, packaging, advertising, web, and motion graphics. I have extensive knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite 6 on both PC and Mac. I also have experience in photography, and greatly enjoy working in food photography.

My portfolio contains a wide variety of designs, containing print, interactive Flash and motion graphics. I am very skilled in the technical side of design, such as quickly learning new computer programs or programming languages for Flash and HTML. I have strong knowledge of prepress and colour calibration.
